Type the message once. It prints across the whole page, every topper sitting on its own dashed guide, so a pair of scissors and ten minutes is the entire production process.
Two shapes. Circle toppers are the round ones you tape to a toothpick and stand in a cupcake. Favour tags are rounded rectangles with a coloured band across the top and an optional punched hole for ribbon or twine, which is what goes on a goodie bag or ties round a jar.
Up to six across and eight down, so forty-eight to a sheet at the most. Four by five is the default and gives a comfortable size for both shapes.
Everyone gets their own name
Paste a list of names, one per line, and each topper takes the next one as its main line.
That is the feature worth the trip. A class party where every treat carries a child's name is a different thing from a tray of identical ones, and it takes about as long to set up. Leave the name list empty and a single message repeats across the sheet instead, which is what you want for Happy Birthday or Thank You.
The sub-line underneath holds a date, an age, a short note. Switch it off for a cleaner topper.
Themes and borders
Birthday and Party each set a colour palette, so do Baby and Classroom, and there is a neutral Custom theme for when none of the four suits what you are doing.
Borders run solid, double, dashed, or a scalloped ring of dots that reads as a laser-cut edge from any distance at all. Scallop is the default and it is the one that most repays card stock, because the shape only survives the cut if the paper has some body to it.
Cutting and mounting
Print at full scale, never fit-to-page, or the cut guides stop matching the shapes and you will find out on topper nine.
Card stock for anything standing on a skewer. Plain paper is fine for tags being tied to a bag, where the ribbon does the structural work. Keep the cut guides showing while you are learning the layout and turn them off for the final run once you trust your scissors, which gives a cleaner edge because there is no printed line to leave behind.

How many cupcake toppers fit on one page?
You choose. Set the columns (1 to 6) and rows (1 to 8) to fit anything from a few large toppers to a full sheet of small ones. A 4 by 5 grid gives twenty standard circle toppers per page.
Can I put a different name on each topper?
Yes. Paste a list of names, one per line, and each topper uses the next name as its main line. Adding extra pages automatically if your list is longer than one page. Leave the list empty to repeat the same message everywhere.
What is the difference between a topper and a favor tag?
