Create Classic Number Bingo Cards (1-75 and 1-90)
Run a proper round of number bingo without hunting around for cards in a cupboard. This printable number bingo generator comes pre-loaded with the numbers 1-75 (the classic American range) and switches to the UK 1-90 version as soon as you add 76-90 to the items list.
Every card is shuffled independently so no two players see the same grid, and the optional host call sheet lists every number for easy crossing-off during play. Print 1, 2, or 4 cards per page in A4 or US Letter PDF format, and you are ready to call the first number.
This number bingo card maker is free, has no sign-up, and uses the shared branded PrintablesWorld template so a class or party set looks uniform.
Why use this number bingo card maker?
Number bingo is the classic choice for rainy-day classrooms, care-home socials, family parties, fundraising nights, and end-of-term fun. The maths version is also a brilliant fluency exercise: call "three sevens" instead of "21" and suddenly players are practising times tables under the cover of a game. Use it for:
- classroom number-recognition practice for early years
- times-tables bingo with older learners
- school fair and PTA fundraising nights
- care-home and community-hall socials
- family game nights and Christmas gatherings
- birthday parties and youth-club activities
- end-of-term class celebrations
Because the cards regenerate in seconds, a set that goes missing after one game can be replaced before anyone notices.
What you can customise
- Number range — keep the preset 1-75 or add 76-90 for UK-style bingo
- Title — a custom heading such as "Year 2 Number Bingo" or "Christmas Fair"
- Grid size — 5x5 is traditional, with a FREE centre square
- Cards per page — 1, 2, or 4
- Total number of cards — up to 200 unique cards per PDF
- Call sheet — turn on to add a host page listing every number
- Seed — use the same seed to regenerate the exact same set
- Paper type — A4 or US Letter PDF output
Notes and limitations
- A 5x5 grid with FREE centre needs 24 numbers, so both 1-75 and 1-90 ranges comfortably supply a rich shuffle.
- Duplicates in the list are removed automatically.
- The tool does not yet split 1-75 into the traditional B/I/N/G/O column bands — every card uses the full range on every column. Players still mark numbers as they are called; the mechanic is identical.
- For very large print runs (100+ cards), generate in two batches with different seeds if your browser feels sluggish.
- Print at 100% scale so grid lines align when cards are stacked.
Who number bingo is for
Parents
Quick, universally understood family game — pre-schoolers play the number-recognition version, older siblings play the classic call version.
Teachers
A dependable wet-playtime activity, a times-tables fluency starter (call "7 x 4" and players hunt for 28), or an end-of-term treat lesson.
Homeschool families
Mix ages easily — the youngest learner matches digits while older ones practise mental arithmetic under the disguise of a game.
Tutors
Use number bingo as a low-pressure way to drill numeracy with a learner who finds worksheet-style practice repetitive.
Fundraisers and community organisers
Generate as many cards as your venue needs for a school fair, PTA social, or care-home afternoon.
Range and style options
1-75 (classic US)
The default range. Fewer numbers means faster games — useful if you have limited time between activities.
1-90 (UK)
Add 76-90 to the items list to switch. Longer games, more numbers called, traditional for charity and community events.
Times-tables mode
Keep a 1-100 (or subset) list and call multiplication facts instead of numbers. Doubles as quick-fire times-tables practice.
How to use the tool
- Check the pre-loaded 1-75 list, or add 76-90 for UK bingo.
- Set a card title.
- Choose grid size (5x5 with FREE is standard).
- Pick cards per page and total number of cards.
- Turn the call sheet on for the host.
- (Optional) Enter a seed.
- Choose A4 or US Letter.
- Click Generate, preview, and download the PDF.
Worked example
For a Christmas fair fundraiser, keep the default 1-75 list, title the cards "PTA Christmas Bingo", choose a 5x5 grid with FREE centre, 4 cards per page, 120 total cards, and turn the call sheet on. The PDF opens with a single host page listing every number, followed by 30 pages of 4 compact cards each — enough for a well-attended event. Enter a memorable seed (for example "pta-2026") and the same exact set can be reprinted if the originals are lost.
Methodology
The engine reads your items list, removes duplicates, and for each card runs an independent seeded Fisher-Yates shuffle. It then writes the first 24 shuffled numbers into the 5x5 grid (skipping the FREE centre). The call sheet is generated once from the full de-duplicated list so the host always has a complete reference. A shared seed makes the full batch reproducible — helpful for large events where cards get lost or damaged mid-game.
Helpful preset ideas
- 1-75 with FREE centre — the classic
- 1-90 UK range for charity nights
- 1-20 or 1-30 for early-years number recognition
- Times-tables set (2x, 5x, 10x products) for maths fluency
- 4 cards per page for large fundraising events
- 1 card per page for care-home visual accessibility
Best ways to run a number bingo game
- Use dried pasta, buttons, or counters so cards are reusable.
- Call slowly and repeat each number once to give players time to scan.
- Award prizes for a full line, four corners, and a full house.
- Tick called numbers on the host sheet as you go to prevent repeats.
- Laminate cards for repeated classroom or community-hall use.
Designed for A4 and US Letter Printing
Whether you are printing for a UK school fair on A4 card or an American community fundraiser on US Letter, the grid scales cleanly to both paper sizes. Print at 100% scale for crisp grid lines, and consider 160 gsm card if you want cards that will survive repeated use.
